A Man With A Van – Moving Company in NJ

by Karen Eastman Bigos on September 3, 2010

I want to introduce you to a man who works day and night in his own moving business serving North Jersey since 2004. Bill Lattery specializes in “out of the ordinary” residential moves including antiques, pianos, valuable art work and paintings.

Before starting his own company in 2004, Bill was a crew chief for 15 years for other movers. He believes every detail should be attended to and is personally involved in every move. His firm has also moved several major NJ companies and his family is also a part of the business when it comes to making phone calls, working ad campaigns, and the pile of paperwork needed for each move.

Bill Slattery’s moving company is called A Man With a Van, and is located in Verona, NJ. He is not just some ‘Schmuck with a Truck’. This is a hardworking guy who busts his back to bring something special to the moving business and he puts his heart and soul into every move. Many of our clients have raved about his work and crew, so we recommend that you hire him because we know he will personally take good care of you. This is not a large corporation where there are dozens of trucks and no one really knows who is is charge or who makes decisions.

Bill grew up in Short Hills NJ and I can honestly say that I’ve known his parents for over a decade, when they hired me and my partner Daniel Cannizzo to sell their historic home in Short Hills, NJ. We had a great experience and sold the house at a good price, and both before and after the sale, we hired the Slatterys for very competent legal work.

When we heard that Bill had gone out on his own, we wanted to give a fellow Millburn HIgh School grad a chance and we recommended his moving company to our clientele. We hope you will give him a call if you are thinking of making a move in or around NJ.
